Telescope Types

The concept of astronomy comes from the Greek and means "observation of the stars." Thus, in astronomy, the science of celestial bodies is to be understood. This includes not only stars but also asteroids, planets, moons, galaxies, clusters of galaxies and star clusters. The Astronomy explained by scientific means, the origin and formation of such objects in the known universe. Furthermore, the properties of these objects and also of the electromagnetic radiation occurring in the universe are analyzed, and sought a better understanding of the universe. The astronomy is now used and is highly regarded as a hobby for amateur astronomers very popular. The fact that everyone can see with the naked eye but certain celestial bodies on a clear night sky, fascinated many people. The development of the telescope four centuries ago, was a huge milestone in astronomy. Due to the increasingly refined and improved telescopes and telescopes later observations and studies of millions of light years distant celestial bodies have been possible. Another great advance in astronomy was the space, making telescopes could be shot into space and thus disappeared, the Earth's atmosphere as a disturbing factor. This again was much better and more detailed images of distant objects are made.

The science of astronomy can in general continue to be divided into separate disciplines. For example, in astrophysics and astrometry, which deals with the physics of our solar system, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, the Milky Way and the development of other galaxies and galaxy clusters examine and research. Then there is the relativistic astronomy, which deals with such black holes. The origin, development and death of stars and the history of the universe described by each of the stellar and cosmology. Likewise, it is now a necessity to work together many of these departments and research groups belong therefore information not only from a field, but from all, since they are linked. The latest art is at the Exoplanetologie, which are located outside of a solar system with planets involved. But not only the cooperation of the various fields of astronomy has grown in importance, but also how to work with other sciences, is now become more important. Thus, the geology and mineralogy also for astronomy have become increasingly important. Further overlaps and intersections with other sciences would have the philosophy and theology and cosmology, since it answers to the questions of the formation, development and the end of our universe to be found.

Customer Quotes

"I just received the MaxView™ 40 I ordered earlier this week. I am using it with an ETX-90 and Sony DSC-F707 digital camera. I am blown away with the quality of this eyepiece. Here's a shot of the Moon taken with the MaxView™ 40. Great eyepiece, I recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a good eyepiece to use with their digital camera. Thanks for the great service as well."
